I guess I should start by mentioning that I've never read the short story that this movie was adapted from. I saw this movie in theaters and I thankfully don't regret the money spent. Some may scoff at the PG-13 rating but I found the lack of blood and guts gore refreshing. I'm not ashamed to admit that 1408 creeped me out! John Cusack did a great job in the film. His journey from a skeptic to being on the verge of a mental breakdown was believable. If you enjoy the heeby jeebies watch this flick.
