Following this Thursday's episode, The CW's Supernatural (like sister show Smallville) is taking a several-week break, returning with new episodes on or around Jan. 15. That's the bad news.
The good news is that shortly after the series comes back, fans will get a big treat: a teenaged Dean. And filling Jensen Ackles' shoes for the flashback will be Brock Kelly, TVGuide.com has learned.

No! He is not goodlooking enough to be Dean! And his hairstyle is more like Sam's! Poor casting from such a great show. But then they cast that awful replacement for Ruby's character, and Cassie from season one.
He does not really look like Dean to me. And I agree whats up with the hairstyle?
Sam and Dean had the same hairstyle when they were younger?
It's difficult to tell from this picture.
But...well, I can see some facial similarities. However...no one can compete with Jensen's studliness.

I actually think it's a pretty good casting. Lips especially...totally could be a teen Dean!
wat??? no! this cant be dean. dean is way too hot to have looked like this wen he was younger! this guy better have some dam good acting skills else i wont be impressed! n i agree where's sam??? still, cant w8 for this episode. Dam the hiatus!!!
Ugh, come on! That so can NOT pass for Dean ... Sam yes but Dean no fecking way. Dean is way better looking than that for sure! I'm disappointed Kripke. As for the break .. Jan 15th WHAT THE F-!??? Too damn long ... what will I do between now and then? This SUCKS out loud - BIGTIME!!!
I don't know it's hard to say negative about if he could pass for Dean,the casting has been awesome so far and I kinda got used to the new Ruby. I will have to see the episode to see if he passes the SN fan test one picture can't say how well he will do who knows maybe the producers will do as they always do- make an awesome show to intertwine the massive fans. I for one have been a fan long enough to forgive a couple of mistakes in a great show.
I can see a likeness to John Wincester, especially the eyes. And where is a picture of young Sam? Maybe he wont be in the episode, like he wasnt really in the episode In The Beginning. Cant wait to see where that episode goes, more answers from the past i expect. Cant wait
Have just read that the boy who played young Sam in A Very Supernatural Christmas will be playing teen Sam, Colin Ford
he doesn't look like dean, and he's to old. we know what dean would look like as a teen (cause he's not that old), and it wouldn't be this.
