smallville ( episode 10, pure bs )

| loading

im sorry i found this episode to be bs, ive read the comics watched the anime cartoons etc and obviously i dont expect everything to follow each other line by line story by story but when the directors decided to bring doomsday, practically 1 of the toughest mofo in the whole superman series who practically kills clark and then only show him for 1 minute in a 60 minutes episode thats bs. basically clark goes to punch him and he gets knocked back and doomsday is gone, i mean come on.... Fans have been waiting 10 episodes to see him and then we get a 1 minutes sneak peak and then now we have to wait till January 2010..

later all these companies wonder why shows get cancelled and people stop watching and rating go down when all this bs happens... bad enough lex vanished and i was happy lana vanished but now this bs... i mean come on.... im a smallville fan but i have to admitted im getting disappointed and soon going to stop watching... this is as bad as when they made part 2 of the fantastic four and said galactus was in it... and all u see is a cloud for a few seconds... sometimes i think they want ppl to stop watching these shows

yea but Clark wasn't even suppose to face him yet and Doomsday isn't fully developed in this season I've read all the comics too and since Smallville hasn't followed the comics yet except the town he was raised in they have liberal freedom to bring Doomsday in when he isn't fully developed and put a different twist on it. Doomsday wasn't even strong enough yet in this episode to do much harm to clock he definitely needs to develop more which means fighting more people and such

i think this comment is bs. i've read the comics and i've seen the cartoons. that has nothin to do with the show. smallville is a different brand all together. the show is a great show after losing the creators and come up with a season like this is astonishing. people will continue to watch this show because its a great show. we were left with a great cliffhanger so when the show comes back in December it will be that much more fun to watch

I agree with jpaine and ilove; this series is terrific and "Bride" was one of the best episodes. I don't understand why the original reviewer is so down on it, unless he (or she) is just stirring things up. I think the series writers deserve a medal for pulling Smallville back from the brink. It was heading for disaster but somehow they've rescued it, tightening the plotlines, strengthening the characters and their relationships, bringing back the soul of the story. It's an amazing achievement. Wish I could time travel to the next episode...

first of all pay attention its not coming back in December 2nd of all fair enough smallville is in a class of its own but either u bring doomsday in properly or you don't. and bringing him in for like 25 sec then ending the series and next 1 is in January is a bit bs

I thought it was coming back on 15th Jan (according to TV.com). Anyway Smallville, I think, has really come back from the brink of disaster this season. Season 7 was appalling in comparison to what we all came to expect from the show. And quite frankly I was amazed it got renewed. Yet Season 8 has been much much better. Losing Lex and Lana was a blessing and breathed more life into the show with fresher characters, and with the writers taking the show into a different direction. I think it really works, and while you may not like it, a lot of people do. Smallville has changed, but I think its evolved into a more Supermanesque show and while it may not be following the track of the comics, it never pretended to. It was always a separate entity. I definitely don't think Bride was bs. Doomsday, like other people have mentioned isn't fully formed yet. And it would have been silly for Clark to have a huge battle with him straight away. What kind of cliffhanger would that have been? Plus we needed someone to be in some sort of peril because lets face it, that is when Clark fights his best. I sense we are only just scratching the surface of the Doomsday/Clark saga, so if your a bit more patient I am sure a major battle is going to commence in the future.
