Cancellation Danger Zone: Pushing Daisies No Longer Safe, and Dirty Sexy Money?
| loading ABC has canceled Pushing Daisies, executive producer Bryan Fuller confirms to Kristen of E! exclusively.
So take out the bag pipes and light a few candles for a great show shot down. This innovative show, a rare cinematography based treat, has been canceled, and to add insult to injury it will be left off at a cliff hanger no less.
Also up in the air, however, is Dirty Sexy Money and Eli Stone who have, reportedly, been canceled, but no confirmation has been given as to whether or not this is a definite [so people, pray that this is another Lipstick Jungle-esque debacle].

NOOOOOO!
PUSHING DAISIES!
What is the world coming to when shows like fecking Gossip Girl thrive and moments of brilliancy and art captured in Pushing Daisies alone are tossed aside?
WHAT. THE . FLUFF.
I'm going to go punch some bystander now.
Television sucks.
This happened to Roswell as well. And Wonderfalls.
Any creativity is scorned nowadays.
Thank god for Dexter and Supernatural.
This is by far the biggest mistake since FOX wrongly cancelled FIREFLY, ABC will regret !
The only thing I just dont understand, why would a network like ABC that clearly only lives on ratings, buy a series like PD in the first place.
They must have known that this would never be an easy one, as its to smart, creative and unusual to find a mass audience instantly. They must have known that this would need time to reach a wider audience.
I can only hope that Showtime or HBO is taking on the Daisies, as this show deserves to be seen.
Stupid idiots at ABC, some real stupid idiots !
Seriously, I thought after Scrubs switched to ABC, that they were the good guys and NBC the bad ones. How can they not see the potential PD has? It´s such a different concept, of course the viewers need time to get used to it.
Jesus, whats wrong with those big TV channels anyway?? How can they cancel PD but be so fond of Grey´s Anatomy? Much too dramatic and there is not a single character who is just a bit likable!!! And they didn´t even give "Nobody´s Watching" a chance, a very very promising pilot by Bill Lawrence.
Something is really wrong here.
LOL people make me laugh, you come on sites like this to watch shows online on third party sites like megavideo, and then cry when your show gets canceled. less viewers = less ratings = less advertising = less money, so people of sidereel, including me, its thanks to us good shows like this get cancled, its a part of the game, deal with it or watch it on tv and support them.
not everyone does that, I actually watch pushing daisies and dirty sexy money every night that they're on ABC, i wouldn't be so quick to judge if i were you, particularly in such a condescending manner, it's rather offensive really.
Very sad that ABC is canceling these shows. I guess ABC had too many hits and now they want every single show to be HUGE.
I second cosmopolitan's comments. I watch these on TV or online on ABC.com where I see the ads there. I like the show way too much to wait for it to be posted online most of the time. I like to see it live.
some of us would love to watch it on ABC but live out of the country and they don't let us have access!! They should open it up to the world so people won't have to come here to watch it!!!
It doesn't really matter whether we average folks watch it on ABC or not - the ratings are based on what people with Nielsen boxes or full out Nielsen surveys watch. Its a stupid, unrepresentative survey which leads to great shows being cancelled!
