I am a big fan of American Dad and Family guy. I would like to stress that I do not know how many episodes you get in a box set in USA and Canada but it seems over here in the UK, France and Spain we seem to get a raw deal. When I bought the first SEASON of American Dad I was quite happy because it was a show I'd seen once and quite enjoyed. I did not mind the £19 price tag I had paid. Once Season two came out I rushed to buy it before it showed on tv. It was not until I joined Sidereel that I noticed that there were episodes from both seasons I had not watched. The same problem applied to Family Guy. I checked the tv listings and watched every episode that was on but they were all repeats of what I had watched. With American Dad After SE1 Ep13 it seemed to start a new season. With Family Guy season 2 and 3 which I bought have 22, 23 episode. And was confused why season four only had 14. So I would like to know is it just greed so the cut the season in two and both North America and Europe get ripped off or as Europeans are we getting a bum deal.
