Could have been more

There are some pretty decent laughs in it but the movie parodies far too many popular TV shows, like ugly Betty and America’s Next Top Model, and so looses its flow. It could have been a great 300 spoof, pointing out the overuse of violence and the dubious ideological point of view in the original 300 movie, but it only became your next-door low quality pal barley existing to get the brain-dead MTV generation into the playhouse. I can’t believe this earned $40 million worldwide.

I watched it via the (functioning) 56.com link, the best scene by far was the musical ending (I will survive...) on the American Idol stage.
