Make way for another mother on How I Met Your Mother.


Cobie Smulders is pregnant and due in the spring with her first child, People reports. Dad is her boyfriend, actor Taran Killam, better known as Barney's abrasive former co-worker Blauman on the CBS show.


The actress' joyful news comes one month after Alyson Hannigan announced she is with-child, which poses another baby pickle for the sitcom's producers: Will Smulders' pregnancy be written in?


If it is, it may be a surprise pregnancy, as Smulders' Robin has vowed never to have children and it has been implied that she doesn't. Thus far, Hannigan's pregnancy has not been incorporated.

    They can't write Cobie's pregnancy in! I really hope they don't . . . I think it would take a lot away from the storyline.


    But as far as Alyson's pregnancy, I definitely think they should. Marshall and Lily are growing up, and have been married for . . . is it two years now? And I think I child would greatly add to the Erikkson/Aldrin family. The producers could have a great time tying it in to the plot, don't you think?

    There's a never ending amount of material in adding a pregnancy and child to the show. I think it could be fun, I'm all for it, let's have a baby!!
