Cancellations Till Now

| loading

This hasn't been the best TV season so far, but the cancellations haven't helped either! The network execs went ahead and canceled some of our faves and will probably renew some more crime procedural.

These are the shows that have been canceled (so far) :

The Ex-List: One of my favorites, canceled after just four episodes. But we didn't really get to see the post heart-and-soul-of-the-show-Diane Ruggiero episodes, maybe it was so bad that the show had to be canceled. Or maybe, as usual, network execs tried to increase their world domination by replacing everything with a repeat of NCIS.

Do Not Disturb: You got your wish DND, that's all I can say.

My Own Worst Enemy: Canceled. But fans, don't worry, NBC plans to work with Christian Slater on another project, I think. I'm not sure.

Pushing Daisies: Canceled? No! I reject the....Continue Reading

yes, actually, we CAN blame the networks. When fans from around the world are sendng letters, emails, online petitions, daisies, and daisy seeds to ABC in desperate attempts to save the show, and the network flat out ignores them and cancles the show anyway, then yes we can blame them.

When viewers suggest ways to improve viewership and broaden the audience, and the network ignores them, then the fault is surely theirs.

    Other than this, great article!

D:! NO. Pushing Daisies was the best. I watched it from the first episode until now. I think perhaps changing the network? It could work well on ABC Family, if ABC gave it a shot. Or perhaps give it over to CBS. CBS has the best writers around, in my opinion. I mean, look at Gary Unmarried. It could use a good mystery with spunk.

Yet somehow Kath and Kim is still on TV?! There are WAY more stupid shows than the ex list or pushing daisies, that's for sure!

I quite enjoyed this show. Alex Breckenbridge is hot and so is Rachel Boston. The two supporting male dweebs are a bore though.

    Anyway, it's gone now so...

I like My Own Worst Enemy, but hey it'll be sweet if he does another new show. That one was a pretty cool concept, but I think not enough to continue for a bunch of seasons.

Ever since seeing Slater in "The Heathers", I've wanted to see him in more serious work. I'm hopeful that they do indeed work with him on another project, but after being traumatized by all the waiting involved with other stuff coughlotrcoughhobbitchoke I'll just watch it when it gets here. :)
