How many studio executives does it take to air a good show?

Answer: Two. One to get it on the air and another to cancel it mid season.

I too mourn the loss of Eli Stone.

I am so frustrated. No one takes the networks seriously anymore and I know a lot of people who just don't bother getting into a show because they know it will be taken away. The networks are simply unreliable.

Eli Stone was upbeat, optimistic and full of talent. Though I like crime procedurals, there are way too many on TV. How can so many copycat shows like that make it but something original, fun and just so sweet and beautiful not make it. It always gave me a feel-good mood when I watched.
