More Britney News
Besides it being confirmed that Britney Spears will in fact be returning to How I Met Your Mother, we now know when to expect her.
It looks like May 15th we can look forward to (?) seeing Britney return as secretary Abby, in an episode where she and Barney share their mutual dislike for Ted.
Britney Spears returning to "Met Your Mother"
I suppose it's a good thing for the show, since she brought in record high ratings her last appearance on March 24th's episode, but can she pull off a convincing act a second time?? I'm a little weary. I guess I'll just have to wait to find out!

I'm not a big fan of Britney, but I think the only fact that we were surprised by her appearance was a nice plus ! Let's... wait for it !
what? britney spears was in an episode?oh wait yes i remember, you saw her for about 5 minutes throughout the entire episode as a secretary, ummmm....one question?what exactly did she do that was either funny, stupid, just plain embarrassing to her as always, or the most important thing make the show any better than it is?they could have had anyone in her place and the episode wouldn't have been any different.
well i suppose i can't argue the facts, she did bring some higher ratings, now lets go one step further and get a successful star on here, well one that didn't find most of their fame through being, well....you know how she is.
maybe we should have some real stars, Steve Tyler of Aerosmith, Bruce Willis, or even Arnie, now surely he'll bring more viewers?

Yeah, me and my fiance, after watching it, didn't really see the point of Abby being played by Britney. I thought she did it well, and it was good to see her doing something productive again, but yeah unnecessary. I kinda like how the show doesn't bring on huge names to do episodes. The new faces help us, the viewers, to not have a bias toward what their characters should be, they get to create themselves. I think of characters like Victoria and Natalie from season one, Mary from "Mary the Paralegal". We didn't know them but they did awesome jobs. I say keep the roster new and fresh.
I could probably do without Britney again. She didn't really add too much to the episode for me. If they do guest stars, I like them to be subtle, lesser known people (Elliot from Scrubs was fine with me!)
