This Could Be Ugly: Lohan on Betty

One time movie star Lindsay Lohan is on the verge of becoming a TV guest star (downgrade? you decide).

TVGuide is reporting that Lohan is in "advanced discussions" to guest star in the May 22 season finale of Ugly Betty.

However, things don't end there. The producers also want Lohan to guest star in as many as 8 episodes next season!

Is this a good or bad thing for the show? Discuss!

Update: Lohan will indeed be guest starring on this season's finale . She'll play a former classmate of Betty's who used to be anything but nice to her. Lohan will also guest star in 5 episodes next season.

Up to 8 episodes for next season? Well, at first thought I want to dismiss the idea all together. But then I remember the times when I did enjoy Lohan - circa Mean Girls. Who knows, this may be something that helps bring back a little bit of the old Lohan many of us enjoyed watching.

hmmmm i really wouldn't mind having her... maybe another girlfriend of daniels or something? she's usually pretty good with those type of roles.

I think it will be interesting, I like it when celebrities join in on great TV shows, of course it is mostly for themselves and not so much for the benifit of the programme, but still, I'm glad that Ugly Betty is still getting the attention the show deserves.

The latest train wreck is trying to salvage her career similar to Britney on How I Met Your Mother! And casting her as a "Mean Girl"? Why not typecast her a little more? I guess that was the last thing we actually enjoyed Lindsay in, so it's a smart move for the writers/producers etc... but ehhh why even do it?

    (For ratings. Nevermind)

urgh sure maybe one ep! but for 8? celebrities should be allowed 1-2 ep's, unless they were there from the start :D
