Normally, when I watch a 30-minute sitcom, I don't scour the screen for clues, but How I Met Your Mother has been known to throw in little Easter eggs for the most observant of users, so maybe this guy has found something:

   Nonsense. stella cant be the mother, for MANY MANY reasons. the fact that the letter is there, is mainly just because they needed props to fill stella's apartment, and they reused the same letter. If she was the mother, how do you account for the 8 year old daughter? when ted(future ted) speaks, its in 2030, making the daughter about 30 years old. Not to mention, sarah chalke is only on how i met your mother on a temp basis, i doubt she will juggle scrubs AND how i met your mother. this is just another case of looking to far into things.

   I think that the girl Ted bumped into at the St Patty's Day party [at the bar] for a split second is the mother - It was such a brief and chance encounter - and why give some random girl one line, to say excuse me, in such an episode? Well, that's my theory anyway.

   I thinks it goes to far to say that shes the mother but if it is in fact the letter she could easily be an Aunt or family friend. Too soon to tell.

   I have a feeling it's Stella as well because in episode 3x13 "Ten Sessions" Stella talked about going to a club for St.Patty's day that ended up out of control, and Ted during "No Tomorrow" talked of how there mother was at the club, and they never indicated that he saw her. I think the yellow umbrella will come back in a future episode.

   Sarah Chalke is now done with Scrubs, they have almost finished shooting season 8 which will probably be last season (although they have said that a lot) in which case she will be looking for something else like HIMYM. And there is nothing to say that her daughter hasn't moved out by that point in the future. The clues are there but there is also a good chance i am wrong. But she will be free for the role.

   Listen up guys! The mother is the one that the dating service finds for Ted in the Milk episode.

   Isnt it more likely that the mother is his soulmate than just someone he bumps into in a club?

   Plus there must be a reason that the faces is censored of right?

   Lets all just hope the show gets its ending. Its been 'on the bubble'.
