Choose Your Favorite TV Mother

In honor of Mother's Day this Sunday, SideReel wants YOU to select your favorite mother on TV (past or present) and explain why!

I'll start!

My favorite TV mother is currently Nora from Brothers & Sisters! First of all, I am obsessed with the show in general these days, but I love the strong relationship that Nora has with all of her adult children (and even previously thought-to-be children of a deceased husband's lover - talk about an accepting woman...well, she doesn't technically know that Rebecca isn't a Walker yet, but I have a feeling that she'll still make Rebecca feel welcome once she does).

   The first who comes to mind is Kitty from That 70's Show! She's a perfect mix of caring mother, reality check, and town drunk. Definitely the best source of motherly love and advice we could ever wish for!

   I dunno, Jane Kaczmarek from Malcolm in the Middle is pretty awesome. Nothing like a combination of lunacy and caring to make me think of my mom.

   I don't know, there is something mildly impressive about a mother who provides the entire premise for a TV show, all without ever appearing or even (seemingly) existing. I am of course speaking of the yet to be reveled mother on CBS's How I Met Your Mother.

   The mom from Weeds. Not only is Weeds a hilariously awesome show, but she is incredibly hot.

   Not only is she cool, hot and smart. She's willing to go to any lengths to help her son (and mankind lol). Plus how cool is a mother who wields a gun at baddies :D

   firstly i have to say a totaly agree with kendra, kitty forman would be a great mum. I also think lorali from the gilmore girls would be a good mum as she would be easy to talk to and she makes me laugh!

   Definitely Nora Walker from Brothers & Sisters. She seems to really be there for her kids and always care, even though sometimes she may step the boundaries. She always means well and she even opened her doors to Rebecca and tried to give her a Walker birthday party.

   
   

   Oh, Lorali Gilmore from Gilmore Girls is a great mom too. She brought up Rory all by herself and give her the best, even if that meant weekly dinners with her own mother in order to get Rory into a private school. She may not stand her mother for a moment, but she made sure to give Rory a chance to reach her dreams and always tried to have a good relationship with her, no matter what.

   i have to agree with Darthbob100 without the mother which you never see that show would be a flunk, best mom never seen!!!

    Sarah Connor, she's pretty hot and she is trying to save the world from becoming mostly destroyed by future robots. She always has a pistol hidden somewhere and tries to be a good mum for John, and is only concerned about his safety.
