Upfront News: Day 2 - ABC
Today was ABC's official upfront presentation. However, because they have so many returning shows (hope you haven't forgotten about Dirty Sexy Money, Pushing Daisies, Private Practice, etc.) that there weren't all too many new additions for the Fall Schedule.
Their biggest new show will be the adaptation of BBC's Life on Mars. The series will star Jason O'Mara as a police detective that gets in a car accident and finds himself...in 1973.
The only other new show for Fall is a game show, Opportunity Knocks. Can't say I care so you can read more details over at TV Guide.
Scrubs will be coming to ABC Midseason, as will an animated comedy from Mike Judge and an untitled project from Ashton Kutcher and Tyra Banks (why?).
As you may have heard, Eli Stone and Boston Legal have been renewed, however Women's Murder Club, Miss/Guided, October Road, Men in Trees and Oprah's Big Give have all not survived.
