Just started watching
I heard about this series a while back but didn't really think much of it. There were a bunch of new series being released at the same time, so I figured I would wait to see which ones would get cancelled. Reaper wasn't one of those shows and I started watching it just a few days ago. I really like the mood of the show. It has a supernatural element to it but doesn't take itself too seriously. There are already other shows that do that. Reaper finds its own unique spin on the whole genre and I'm enjoying the show.

OK, "Cancun" was a good episode but im a bit annoyed at how Sam reacted to his Dad's death - i mean, he got buried alive for christ sake and Sam didnt shed a tear! I know that saying that it's not very realistic would be completely contradictory to the show but come on.
I'm now assuming that both of Sam's earth parents are actually either demons, angels or something obscenely hell-like.
My theory is that Sam's dad's deal with the devil was not to heal from his sickness, but maybe to live forever. The demon/angel theory is also pretty good. Maybe that's why the Devil doesn't want to talk to Sam's dad.
