Bill Lawrence Talks Scrubs...and What Exactly Happened with NBC
Check out this TV Guide interview with Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence, where he goes into a lot of detail on the whole Scrubs scenario - including its bizarre out-of-order final episode on NBC and what's in store for the 18 episodes on ABC next season.

Thank you for posting that article. I think it's bull shit what NBC did to Scrubs and I'm glad that ABC is willing to bring them back. If a budget cut is going to force the writers to come up with new concepts for episodes, more power to them!

oh finally, some explanation. im glad scrubs will be around for another year, i've watched all the seasons and this last one was a bit off, thanks to the writer's strike. and yes NBC is full of shit for doing that to scrubs.
honestly that is ridiculos, that show is epic so they skrewed it over
that was Ridiculous, on NBC's behalf.
i feel much less inclined to watch such an Ungrateful network.
but: thanks to the general "douchebaggery", we all have 18 more episodes of the magic that is..
