Beyonce to Cameo on Desperate Housewives
Beyonce's dad/manager has secured a cameo for his daughter on the lane, but he is looking for a recurring or even permanent role for Beyonce on Desperate Housewives!

I think this is a bad thing personally.
what it is it with famouspeople and pushy parents jessica simpsons dad now beyonces their using their childs fortune to make their ideas happen
i personally can't stnd beyonce as an actress let alone singer, like in austin powers 3 and the pink panther. and you should see how she destroyed the theme of les choristes on the oscars a few years ago with her singing

I KNOOW, right victoria! she can not act and that fact that she puts her alll into everything comes off as overdoing it but it works for her for some reason or the other...that child sucked when she was in austin powers!!

Although I might not be very fond of the idea.. I think the people of Desperate Housewives know what they're doing.. They've gotten this far, havent they!? So, whatever they do, it should be interesting (I hope :S)
I think that she could be a pretty nice housewive. I would like to see them try :)..

you obviously dont watch DHW, as one of the most interesting characters that were on the show were' black'
the lady that locked her son in the basement, the pianist whom her son was making out with bree's daughter. :) so i guess beyonce will fit in just well with an interesting role, thank ya!
'Desperate Housewives' has always been a great show of mine, and im sure they are putting Beyonce in the show because it will work out well. I love Beyonce, shes a really good singer! =) x
And i forgot to say, Because people are coloured, doesn't mean they can't act. Everyone is equal.. Coloured or White... Does it really matter?
Yeah! Beyonce shouldn't join the show! She's not fit in there. There is no black people, she will just ruin the show! I'm strongly disagree if she play in deperate housewives!! A BIG NO NO for her!! She is a bad actress! Just like what others have said. She can't even sing well! I don't like her songs & her singing! Just yuck! Urgh! PLEASE!! Don't let her play in Desperate Housewives.

im a big fan of beyonce..however byonce us not an actress she is a singer ...yes , maybe the show might get more audiences but who said it doesnt have enough audience in the first place.Nevertheless if beyonce joins the desperate housewives ..the whole concept of the show i think would be ruined i meen beyonce just cant fit in with the original house wives :S

The Applewhite's were black & great for the show...but I'm sorry, I don't think Beyonce would be good on desperate housewives, it'd certainly make me & my family turn off the TV. She's just too commercialised & "plastic".
I don't think that luvinit_21 was trying to say that it was a bad thing cause she was black. I think they were trying to raise the point of how the DH writers would play it on screen. I don't think there was anything bad meant by it.
It'll be interesting though! I mean, a lot of people were wary of Britney Spears playing that part in How I Met Your Mother but she did a really good job. Two completely different shows I know, but we might be surprised!

WORST IDEA EVER!!! Beyonce is a horrible actress. She pretty much ruins everything she does. As for her bring a new "fan base" to the show, you are delusional if you think that will really happen! Beyonce's fans will not watch the show! Her fans are guys that think she's hot and young girls who's parents won't let them watch the show anyway. If anything the show will lose some audience. There is nothing more annoying than bad acting and I personally will stop watching the show if they give her a permanent role. If the show or station fells they need to kiss her butt, fine give a cameo, but one is enough.

Oh I read I had seen it on alot of places over the Internet and in magazines so I came here to discuss but nobody had a topic about so I created on.
I think it'll be bad but somebody did raise a good point about Britney on that show she was on. Plus, I was so wary about Lindsay Lohan on Ugly Betty and ditto Victoria Beckham but it worked out well and I thought it added something to the show.
