The season finale of Gossip Girl can be summed up pretty quickly. In no particular order, here is everything that happened in the episode, separated by character or couple:

Lily and Rufus

Wake up together in bed

Rufus: I love you.

Lily: I'm marrying Bart. He has money. And I love him. I think.

Rufus: I love you.

Lily: Marries Bart

Rufus: Goes on tour

Chuck and Blair (with guest appearance by Bart):

Chuck: Remember that hot sex we had?

Blair: Ew.

Chuck: Gives insightful toast ripe with parallels to his own relationship with Blair

Blair: Chuck, you're so dreamy. Yes I'll fly away with you!

Bart Bass: Having a girlfriend will make you all mature, son.

Chuck: Sees hot blonde. I'm Chuck Bass (implying imminent coitus)...

Dan and Serena

Serena: Sarah/Georgina is a psychob****. Everything she says is a lie.

Dan: Oh, ok.

Exit Georgina, after guest scheming by Blair

Serena: Let's have a don't ask don't tell policy about Georgina. I forgive you.

Dan: We didn't have sex. Well, not the kind that makes babies...

Serena: Oh. I still forgive you.

Dan: I want to break up. You're a liar and a slut.

Serena: Just a liar. You're the slut.

The two engage in a pained slow dance

Jenny

Jenny: I have an internship (because Parsons gives internships to 9th graders...)!

Nate and Vanessa (with guest appearance by Serena)

Nate: I have to go outside to punch my father.

Vanessa: Wears ugly dress. Has no chemistry with Nate

Nate: I'm done with Brooklyn. Sees Serena

Serena: I'm going to the Hamptons to reflect by myself. Call me so we can hook up.

Nate: Will do.

All in all, I did not think that the finale was bad, but for some reason I was expecting the episode to end with some sort of a crazy cliffhanger.
