SPOILER ALERT.
According to Kristen @ E! Sylar will slice open the head of someone whom you may consider the show's biggest star. This happens in the first 2 episodes of the coming season! We also learn exactly what he does once he has popped their heads open.

its hardly going to be a season 3!!! if you ask me this should be called season 2 part 2, as they should be 24 episodes to each season because the show is that good, thats how much it deserves and i don't like half done jobs!!!
and it has been FAAAAAARRRRRRR!!!!!!TOO long of a wait, for this long of a wait, there better be some pure explosive action every second of every minute of every episode or im afraid to say, i may have to just stop watching, as much as i love the show, if it doesn't put up, it doesn't deserve my attention!!!
harsh i know but probably the only way were going to get any decent respectful tv shows, ok mostly everyones got the decent side down, but lacking the respect by stopping halfway through seasons, making us wait a year for the second half, in fact the short length of shows and the lack of them a week, 2 1 hour and half episodes spread evenly in each week, say one on mondays and another on thursdays
well he does kill matt parkman so it could be him, but i heard its HRG

I think this is a joke, But if it is somehow true I better do not hope that Peter/Claire dies because they are my favorite characters, I especially love Peter's character because he is kind of the Main character, he is the person with most power's and he is a daydreamer. He is the one you can consider as "Pure heart"
markyj your an idiot, heroes only stopped hal way tough a season because of the writers strick, and as for the 'making you wait a year' bit, what would you rather, late heroes or a heroes without your main vilan as soon after the writers got there long awaited pay rise he had to comit to star trek. (he's gunna be an awesome spock) but back to the post you can guess that peter goes back in time to try and save 'someone' (blatantly nathan) as if you check the 'show unaired episodes' button the first episode is call 'the butterlfy effect' and we all know what that means. n if you dont i pity the fool. thankyou and goodnight!

I was thinking the same thing in The Butterfly effect - Peter probably goes back in time to save Nathan but screws it up, and maybe it ends someone getting theit head cut off, which didn't happen before - but now it does after Peter goes back, just my little prediction, haha

wont be elle, as she's only just become a goodie, plus cant give sylar n peter too many of the same major powers as it would make the inevitable end fight to even, some one (ie peter) needs an edge

Peter and Claire aren't "indestructable", if Syler cut the right part of their brain out, they would'nt regenerate, like in the episode, where Peter had that glass stuck in his brain

remember the girl hiro like clare well sylar killed her and no matter what hiro did she ended up die you cant go back in time to save some one that was killed if they are ment to die ther ment to die so if some one get killed peter or hiro wount be able to save them
It wont be any of the main heroes (claire, hiro, peter, ect) it can only be the "lesser" heroes, parkman would be a good call, but he's only just learnt his power so i think he'll have more for the plots now. Dont forget we dont know if nikki or nathen died in there respective endings and there is aways the mighty adam who could be dug up n 'lend' his powers to sylar (sylar having super hearing he can hear him underground :D oh i do love the heroes rants, i mean debates. hehe
maybe it's molly? i certainly hope not
