After the lowest-ever rated finale of Survivor last week for Survivor: Micronesia, the show has decided to reduce the minimum age to compete to 18 in an attempt to lure in some younger viewers.

There are exceptions in a few states, where by law 18 year olds cannot compete, but otherwise...bring on the high schoolers!

I feel like this actually might inject some life into the competition. It will be really interesting to see how the kiddies interact with some of the older folk (I smell drama)...
