im really lost and ive seen every season-please help

so i've been reading a lot of the posts and comments and everyone keeps saying something bout stellas sister where is this coming from? did ted say something bout falling in love with someones sis?

please help cause im about to go watch every season to find out ah

   Stella sister is getting married. It was mentioned briefly in the finale.

   I think that people are theorizing that it's Stella's sister who is "the mother". It hasn't actually happened, it's just a prediction for the future that he'll end up with her rather than Stella.

   well... if Stella's sister was the mother, wouldn't he have referred to Stella as 'aunt' Stella? =S don't think its true.

   Not necessarily. I mean, I know that's how they introduced Robin, but in a way that kind of changed the way you watched the show. I mean, since I knew she was the aunt, every episode they were together I didn't really put much thought into it because I knew, eventually, that they'd break up. :-/ so maybe the writers decided that if he was going to end up with Stella's sister that they wouldn't give away that Stella wasn't the mother, just to keep everyone sidetracked.

   
   

   Not that I'm saying I agree with the Stella's sister theory, I'm just saying... ^_^
