Slow-down of Ideas

I think the producers or directors of the show or whoever is responsible of creating the captivating plots behind the success of the show are running out of ideas. Ever since the writers strike late last year, very many TV shows have completely hit dead ends, like the TV show, 24, and BSG seems to be falling into a similar ditch by the fact that its weekly episodes are turning into bi-weekly episodes.

So, does this mean BSG's conclusion is drawing nearer and nearer?

no - by the very virtue that this is BSG's final season means that the conclusion is drawing nearer. Every show goes through these phases of episodes, then no episodes, then a couple more episodes... Blame the networks, not the shows themselves.

if you're referring to the fact that there was no episode on friday, that was due to the long weekend in the states. if you're referring to the fact that a lot of the episodes are cliffhangers, then that's due to the fact that this season is more like one long movie than a tv show broken into episodes.
