The Hills is an MTV show, a spin-off from the series "Laguna Beach - the real OC". The Hills revolves around 4 young women - Lauren (LC), Whitney, Heidi and Audrina. It is a reailty show and follows their daily lives then edited into an episode including sub titles and music. It is edited in a way to make it not look like a reality show - the cast act like the cameras are not there.

Season one shows the girls moving to Hollywood and starting a new school and new jobs, season 2 revolves around Heidi's relationship with her new boyfriend spencer and the problems this causes between lauren and heidis friendship. In season 3 Lauren and Heidi are no longer friends - and the episodes are mainly centred around the girls relationships with each other and with boys, nameley brody and spencer, and justin bobby. The Hills is a very addictive show, and is MTV's most succesful show in the states. It attracts an audience generally of teenagers and twenty-somethings. Overall i rate the show 4 - a brillant thing to watch ( if ur into that kinda thing)
