kneh13 Send a Compliment at 5:59 PST, 10 December, 2008I watched the new episode of House last night but missed the whole bit at the end with Cuddy. What happened? My friend wouldnt be quiet long enough for me to get the gist of what was going on. Any help?

It turns out the sick girl had been pregnant by the male bully, hidden the pregnancy, went into premature labour at the soup kitchen where she volunteered, and gave birth in a tenament. She thought the baby was dead and abandoned it with her coat covering the "body". The baby was rescued by a couple who appeared to be drug addicts, and when Cuddy went looking for the baby, they turned her over to Cuddy. The baby was given to the teen mother, but she was dying, the family didn't want the baby (???) because it would remind them of the reason their daughter died (yeah, right), so Cuddy was telling House at the end that she had spoken to her lawyer to foster-to-adopt the abandoned baby. House looked at her and just said Merry Christmas and left the room.
