David Krumholtz represents Numb3rs at The 48th Monte Carlo Television Festival
| loadingMONTE CARLO, June 2: The 48th Monte Carlo Television Festival, which is set to take place from June 8 to 12, will feature appearances by stars from shows distributed by CBS Paramount International Television, including Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominee Mark Harmon of the CBS naval drama NCIS.
NCIS ranks as the number one U.S. series on Sat.1 in Germany and is also among the top 20 U.S. series in Australia and Italy. NCIS, which stands for Naval Criminal Investigative Service, focuses on the sometimes complex dynamics of a team traveling the globe to investigate crimes, from murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines, led by NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, played by Harmon.
Furthermore, David Krumholtz will represent Numb3rs, the drama centering on a mathematical genius named Charlie Eppes (Krumholtz) who helps his brother, FBI Special Agent Don Eppes (Rob Morrow), solve a wide range of challenging crimes in Los Angeles. In addition, CSI, a franchise that includes CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami and CSI: NY, will be represented at the festival by George Eads (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation) and Adam Rodriguez (CSI: Miami). Internationally, all three series of the CSI franchise currently rank among the top 20 U.S. shows in Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the U.K. Each series in the franchise has been licensed into more than 180 territories.
Both CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: Miami are nominated in the International TV Audience Award competition at the festival. A total of 113 programs from 24 countries will be in competition. The winners in each category will be announced at the festivalâs Golden Nymph Award ceremony on June 12.
