FX Cancels Dirt

Courteney Cox shared the news at the "A Time for Heroes" Celebrity Carnival Sunday night that Dirt will not be renewed for a third season.

Looks like the shortened second season after the strike may have done Dirt in, though Cox didn't note any specific reason for the cancellation.

   Aw, it's a shame. Dirt may have been about shallow celebrity but I always thought it had some on the most developed characters on tv.

   Sad news. The first season was pretty swell. Maybe a bit too gruesome for its own good, but the excellent character development made up for it.
