Rocky Carroll Promoted to Series Regular

With the departure of Lauren Holly on NCIS now comes the promotion of Rocky Carroll's character, Leon Vance, from recurring role to series regular. His character will also be receiving a promotion - director of the NCIS!

   am sorry but i hate his character and hope this is the shortest regular ever!

   i don't see him fitting in at all. Ziva was fine from the go but him? nope!!

   The departure of Lauren Holly was okay but if Leon Vance truelly becomes a regular; I will find a new series. I think Burn Notice is looking good.

   idk, he seems alright... lauren holly, on the other hand, was worthless from the beginning, so glad she's gone.

   i bet he is going anyways in a couple of episodes

   that paper he was shredding at the end of the episode looks suspicous so im guessing he will get busted for destroying that paper

   I think the addition of Carroll is great! He's smart and is the perfect 'check' to keep the show balanced. Besides, it will be nice to see a bit of color portrayed other than as the compulsive, hand-washing ditz or as usual, blacks as bums and criminals. The real-life armed forces and US government have blacks in the ATF, the FBI, CIA and other investigative analyst/agents positions. This show until now has not reflected this reality.
