Lindsey to Return for OTH Season 6
In an interview with The CW Source, One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn reveals that the character of Lindsey definitely isn't gone from the series yet.
Says Schwahn (about Lindsey):
"The truth is, we do know some things about season 6, and chances are good that she ain't going anywhere. I can't tell you in what capacity. That could be one episode, it could be more than one episode. But I have a feeling that Lindsey is pretty interwoven into this whole love triangle, now a love rectangle basically. The thing is, Michaela is such an awesome person, and she's doing such a great job that we'd be silly to part ways."

No, not for Lucas anyway. Since this will probably be the last season they should use it for Lucas and Peyton to work through their issues. Lucas didn't save Peyton from any drama in Season 5. Does something bad have to happen to her for him to open his eyes?

ok people here is the basic truth. It will never work between Lucas and Peyton. I, Offcourse want them to be together, but come on they are better apart then they are together. They are the couple who are ment to be together but can't seem to find ther way to happines when they are together. I do hope though that Lucas called Peyton at the airport, they are a really cut couple. I HOPE that is wasen't Brooke because that would crush Brookes and Peyron's friendship forever. I HATE LINDSAY. i refuse to watch season six if its peyton.
Is is jsut me or did anyone else notice that there are not enought guys in the story for them to all match up perfectly.
we have nathan and haley, which is great.
Skills with Nathans mom, which is horrible but whatev.
Mouth with the whats her face secretary girl which is good too.
but for Lucas we have lindsay, peyton, AND brooke.
I say Peyton and Lucas should be together, no offense to all those who disagree.
I like brooke alot too. Forget the bartender maybe she could end up with Jake, the dude from a few seasons back who had a short thing with peyton? I mean she does want a family which he does have and I think they would look cute together if the writers add some decent chemistry. As for Lindsay, even though she hasnt done much of anything wrong except for stand between peyton and Lucas and break Lucas' heart I think she should go. Have her meet some uknown rich guy in New York they live happily ever after off the show. that way Lucas can move on. I will bet that something bad will happen to Peyton before he realizes how much she means to him. And as for Dan. I really do hope he is dead. Hes done enough and only causes trouble.
I like Lindsey and I like her for Lucas more than I like Peyton for him. But I think Lindsey would be a better character if she was out of the whole Lucas drama. Hook her up with Skills or someone. I love the idea of Luke and Brooke. Their relationship has always seemed more fun and loving. But anyways just my thoughts :)

Not sure the producer knows what he is talking about: whatever deal she struck this week with _SVU_ will likely legally preclude her from being on a competing network/show (fairly standard part of an agreement, although there are millions of exceptions (like Kristin Bell doing voice-over work for _Gossip Girl_ and working on _Heroes_ for instance). They could build into MM's contract an appearance here or there to tie up story lines, but let's be realistic: she can't figure too prominently on this show since it has been _widely_ announced that she'll take on the mantle of ADA on _SVU_.
Hi, am a big fan of one tree hill and i watched since the 1st episode and i know the show is about this guy Lucas who is really in love with bascketball and in love with a girl the most beautifull girl he ever seen it was abvious that his heart belongs to her whatever happened and we saw that in S5 when we knew that both of his books is about her....so it will be really stuiped to reunite Brucas and its more stuiped to make a love rectangle or whatever... i will vote not to make Lindsay come back and i will vote for Leyton... Lucas and Peyton are soul mates and love is not a game just like brucas the True love is leyton...and Leyton is all what One Tree Hill is about it will be silly without them..and one more thing stop being 8 years old and putting stuiped comments such as am not gonna watch OTH if leyton reunite...Lucas and Peyton are made for each other...

I really like Lucas with Brooke too. Peyton is really annoying, i'm not going to be happy if they wind up together.... I don't mind lindsay either, she's alright... I just find that him and brooke fit.
I really feel like he's calling Lindsay at the end because the other two were expecting calls, mind you we really don't know how longs it's been since the baby went home. I was so happy when Lucas and Brooke were bonding, i think they're a good couple. Peyton just whines all the time..
i think that lucas is better off going with either peyton or linsey. For lucas and brook its no use they had there chances together and it obviously didn't work out. Lucas and peyton seem to really be in love but just dont know how to make it work. And for linsey not to see that he loved her then instead of peyton and leave him at the alter was the stupidest thing she could of done. If anything i think that lucas should just marrie and have kids and have a happie life with Peyton. Unless Jake comes back for peyton for ever then lucas should just marrie peyton. They seem to work out well toget her. Too bad for linsey.

i have posted before, and i have been thinking, whilst i'd love for Lucas and Brooke to get together again, i don't see it being likely.
in season 3 Brooke helps Rachel when she's upset about Cooper, and then when Rachel asks why Brooke says "i know what its like to have your heart broken and i wouldn't wish that on anyone"
and although Brooke may love Lucas and visa versa, Peyton also is in love with him and it would completely break her heart if Brooke went to Vegas with Lucas. So i don't think she'd do that to Peyton.

Calm your buts down. ITs just a show...its not real...anyway I dont like lindsey for lucas but she makes the whole show interesting. IF she was not here then it would just be brooke and peyton....like it always has been. They need a new girl to start problems. Anyway im a leyton fan..and have been(mostly because I havent seen any lucas or brooke episodes). Anyways love the show!!!Great job....cant wait to see the new one..and even if lucas ends up with lindsey then peyton will never stop..which is going to be funny as hell to see!!
okay so im thinking that Brooke gets a call from those people saying that angie is home because she was waiting for that call, peyton gets a call back from mia because she told her to call her back when she gets more info about the guy she met that knows ellie ( who by the way i think is her dad) and lucas actually calls lindsey because he was trippin over her like hardcore and because lindsey isnt leaving the show yet, that would be the only reason for her being on here long because obv she's gonna be in treehill and the only friend she's got there is haley. although i really want it to be peyton because she really truly loves lucas. Can i just say that is probably not going to be Brooke and Lucas.
Because Sophia and Chad had a divorce a while ago they both signed a contract not to do any sexual, love scenes. Another reason would be that Brooke and Lucas were never meant to be anyway. If you don't believe me then watch the very first episode, when Peyton and Lucas met. Then you will see that they are meant for each other. And besides in one of the episodes Lucas says to Brooke "I'm not the guy for you Brooke Davis". So ha. Leyton always.
I think it's possible for Luke to be calling any of the three but I have to admit (even though I LOVE Brucas) it's probably not Brooke.
As EXXO said, Sophia and Chad signed the contract thing, and they probably still don't want to do scenes together romantically speaking.
For all of you worried about Lindsey coming back (I didn't think she was THAT bad). I heard she was cast as a season regular on one of the crime shows (one of the Law and Orders maybe?)
So if thats true she probably won't be able to stick around for too many episodes. Just a few here and there.
