Send a Compliment at 7:24 PDT, 13 June, 2008After the writers strike not only were we left with too many questions to our favorite shows, we were left with empty slots that used to be filled with good shows that were either new or were on the brink of ending. Lost I know could have answered more questions then they did. Shows such as Jericho who was fought for by the fans and almost became a hit show was cancelled anyways this time no matter what we had to say. Moonlight, which i have only seen the first couple of episodes and Im already intrigued, was well written and deserves to be fought over by the networks. But there are shows that have run out of time and are still ticking. Examples like Ghost Whisperer with Jennifer Love Hewitt, to me is not a show that can match shows like Moonlight who had a good fan bases even though it only ran for 16 episodes. Im sorry to the fans that watch Ghost Whisperer, but it needs to go so that shows like the ones I've listed can go on. So I ask you one question...

I was upset that Women's Murder Club and Shark were cancelled. Both were great shows! All the reality rubbish should of been cancelled! Poor poor TV! Smallville should of gone... this season just bored me, which is wierd cos I have watched it from the beginning. And with MR leaving and KK, I just don't think its gonna work.
I agree smallville just didnt work for me this season, and i too have been watching it from the beginning. I love moonlight, at first i thought it was gona be another one of those buffy wannabes buts its totally different. I'm so upset its cancelled : (
i really love ghost whisperer so i am definetely not gonna say cancel it but i really liked moonlight and if it doesn't come back them i will be extremely upset :( and if reaper is staying on then that is just stupid cause although i liked it in the beginning i went off it and also pushing daisies
yer i really liked Ghost Whisper hope they decide to put it back on. Yer Woman's Murder Club is a hell gud show, i always made sure i watched it, it was getting really gud then they cut it. Lost i found was really boring, and Moonlight i think i watched once but neva agen.
as much as i like heroes, it annoyed me to think that it got what i consider a realy good show off the air... Studio 60 in the sunset strip. It was brilliant, very articulate smart humour not just silly humour. Well i frankly didnt like jericho, i tried watching it but it got pretty boring really quick. But i agreee Ghost whisperer should go, its not a show that can keep up original ideas, also smallville has gone so far down in quality am glad KK and MR are going, better they get off that sinking ship. :P
They should have NEVER cancelled October Road. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? haha.
I must admit, I adored Women's Murder Club, and Moonlight both, the latter I feel really had potential to be a long runner. But then my favourites have a history of being cancelled. See Joan of Arcadia, Raven, The Crow and such.
JEREMIAH was even better, and that was cancelled after 2 seasons too!
With all the C**P on TV, why do they keep cancelling the good ones!!!!
men in trees should NOT have been cancelled....i loved that show! i also agree about october road. that show had a lot of heart and couldve been a big hit given a chance. i never watched moonlight or womens murder club so i cant judge but i agree that ghost whisperer should go. there r a couple of other shows that i really think dont deserve to be on air but i cant think of them at the moment. is notes from the underbelly gone or is it still playing? coz that show was probably one of the worst ive ever seen...and i didnt like miss guided either...it was just boring....

I loved a lot of the sitcom shows, Moonlight, Pushing Daisies, Men in Trees, and Joan of Arcadia was pretty good, even though I only saw a couple episodes, but then they were cancled. They don't have a lot of good mystery shows that don't have to do with CSI, or any wholesome shows. And now they're adding a lot of reality shows that are just pathetic, mean, "I survived a Japanese Gameshow" and "Wipeout?" Television is just getting sad...
Here's a thought, why not cancel one of the million or so "reality" shows while leaving quality television like Moonlight on the air? Moonlight and the other shows mentioned in this thread are all very good shows. For whatever acid tripping reason, the networks keep putting on the garbage that's on and taking the shows that have something off the air. Has anyone seen what they've put in Moonlight's place? Shockingly, it's GARBAGE! I can't wait for Moonlight to come out on dvd, that's what I'll do with my nights that I'm in.
They never should have canceled Freaks n Geeks, I still want to know what happened with those characters.
okay, i agree that moonlight absolutely should NOT have gone, but neither should smallville. i may have not enjoyed how it's turned into a soap opera for the part two seasons, but i think season 8 will be awesome with lana gone. they really need to stop making the stupid reality shows, which are completely devoid of common sense and totally staged. and the stupid show that's taking its place is the worst television show i've ever heard of. and mr and kk's characters were the reason why smallville was a sinking ship...lana and lex's troublemaking killed s6&s7
I agree however decided to marry Lex and Lana should dragged out in to the town square and shot through the head. That was one of the worst ideas in Television history. I also think they should have brought Lois in to the show alot sooner instead of seeing Clark go through Highschool. I sound like an obsessed fan! :-)>
i think smallville is really good bt they are dragging on the lana/clark thing...LANA NEEDS TO GO!! maybe then clark can grow up! x lex is taking up space too he needs to go then return in a later series x
okay i feel bad cuze i cant really say anything about most of the sows on this thread like moonlight or smallville.
but i will agree compleatly about the reality shows i men keep the main one that ur known for but chuck eveything else, i dont think its helping ur ratings.
after takeing all the reality shows OUT then we wouldnt have to freak out as much about things getting cancelld. rember that family guy episode were they came back and peter said "i got bad news we've been cancelled" well weve just gota exept the fact that fox has to make room for the hit seieris (lists like 10 shows)'well isnt there anything we can do?' ' well if all those shows go down the tubes we might have a shot.

Good one...Prison Break...one of my former favorites...should have ended after season 2 (Before they cut off Sarah's head and somehow reattached it)....The one that I am so sad they cancelled is Las Vegas...loved that show...and it ended on a cliffhanger that will never be revealed....:(
