Why are the Heroes seasons getting shorter and shorter?? It was short last season because of the writers strike, but I don't understand why this season was so short, with only 13 episodes. Its getting as bad as english TV shows, which only run for a maximum of 13 episodes. If there is a reason behind it, can you please enlighten me with a comment below, as I REALLY don't understand...

This first half of the season (what we've seen so far) was meant to be the second half of last season. Volume 4 is gonna run from January to May or whenever it will finish to try and catch the series up to where it was supposed to be without the strike - ie, the end of volume 3 though it will be dubbed the end of volume 4.
you're an idiot
just the end of volume three, first half of season 3
second half being the fourth volume - Fugitives
airs february 2nd
Why did you think that the eleven episodes of season 2 actually did end the storyline there? Because season 2 was going to consist of volume two "Generations" (which is the eleven episodes aired), then the next couple of episodes would be volume three "Exodus" (which would be about the Shanti virus getting out in a town) and the last episode would be volume four "Villains". But because of the writers strike three and four never happen, so with season 3 they skipped Exodus and now the first 13 episodes of season 3 are volume 3 "Villains" and the last twelve are volume four "fugitives".
