HIMYM - "Little Minnesota"

I have to say, "Little Minnesota" was one of my favorite episodes of the season. OK, ok so I know I say that every week - but this time I mean it.


I think one of my favorite parts about it was the focus on Robin for a change. Not that I have anything against Ted, or Marshall when he was going through hard times, but I think that Robin has been seriously neglected this season and it's about time we saw more of her! Her character has such funny potential that it's a shame that she gets left out of the spotlight most of the time.


I also enjoyed the Robin-Marshall bonding time. Again, it's not something we see very often. I kinda liked the fact that they were able to mix the characters up a bit and break them apart from the group and branch out to DIFFERENT BARS! It was nice to have a change of scenery!


Some stellar Canada jokes, and an excellent karaoke rendition of "Let's Go To The Mall" made the episode for me!


And also Barney's Weird Al-styled Christmas Carols all suggesting the raunchy things that he wants to do to Ted's sister were a definite highlight.

    Agree that the 2 highlights were at the episode's beginning (the carols by Barney) and at the very end (Marshall's "Let's Go to the Mall").


    Who thinks that Ted's sister and Barney actually did sleep together?? I still left the episode with the gut feeling that Ted's sister was lying...

    yeah i thot she was lying as well bt as the episode finished without them revealing it i thot maybe they didnt sleep together.

    also u hav to remember the "bro code". it states that a bro cannot sleep with another bro's sister although he can point out that she is hot. lol.

    neway my point is barney already broke the bro code once, he cant do it again.

    No, he's definitely from Minnesota, they talked about it in the first season and went there for thanksgiving.
