Fair to the kids?

Just wanted to hear people's thoughts, are you at all weirded out by parents volunteering their children for this show? I think it'll be fine, NBC won't let anything happen, but it is kind of odd to give your baby to teenagers with no experience.

isn't that what people do with babysitters on a daily basis? The only difference with this is that the parents never actually leave, theyr'e just at a house next door and can come over to intervene at any time

I think it's a good lesson for the teens, as cliche as that is to say! I think the oddness comes more from the hype around the show making it sound like the teens or whomever trying to care for the kids are going to do such an awful job, basically for the sake of the drama of the show. I'm sure it isn't all that much different with real babysitting, except most parents now only trust their kids to well-trained sitters. This could be an interesting show or a total flop, I guess we'll see!

I think the parents should be commended for volunteering to participate. I was reading up on it, and apparently none of the families were compensated for their part in it. I guess it's going to be more like a docu-reality show rather than a game show/elimination reality show.

I got a sneak peak of that show and I would recommend all the mom’s have their teens watch that show and I promise that teens will not be getting pregnant anytime soon…!!!

True - especially after the MA teen pregnancy pact story broke - are you kidding me?! depending on the actual educational value of the show it might not hurt to start showing it in sex ed or parenting classes that high schools have. It's just scary when a teenage girl needs to use motherhood as a personal identifier

I actually thought it was a brilliant idea. We learn how our teens handle the stress of parenthood and they in return learn how to cope with babies and all that come with it. I love this show but missed the premier and can't find it anywhere to watch. All I can find was preview and not the full episode. Does anyone knows where I can watch it. I thought that by signing up here on this site I can watch the full episode but no. It was misleading and now I'm pissed. Seem like they don't show it again once you missed the episode. This sucks!
