not bad

nothing new, nothing special. John cusack does a great job, sam jackson should have passed but thankfully for the 1408 crew he did not. the special effects were very believable, aside from the ghosts. the best thing this movie has it going for it is a lack of cheap scares. tension is maintained very well.

aside from some ridiculous plot twists reminiscent of a ShammyLAN nightmare this is a good flick.
