Karen Gillan (Doctor Who) and John Cho (Sleepy Hollow) star in this My Fair Lady adaption for THE NEW MILLENNIUM. Gillan plays "instafamous" star Eliza Dooley (get it?) who garners a reputation for narcisissim. Cho is the PR genius Henry Higenbottam, who is tasked with helping her "rebrand" her image. It's maybe too-relevant, but it also looks sweet, and has a lot of potential.

    Black-ish

This family sitcom in the spirit (if not the mold) of Modern Family has an all-star cast (Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Laurence Fishburne) and looks to take generational and cultural issues head on. We can't lie, it'll be exciting to see Fishburne on TV, while Anderson and Ross both have terrific comic pedigrees. This is definite tune-in material.

  • Mulaney

    Mulaney

Former SNL scribe and popular stand-up comedian John Mulaney is finally getting his starring vehicle (over a year after it was pitched to the networks) in what's being called the next Seinfeld. A lot of comic-lead comedies have flopped in recent years (Whitney, anyone?), and expectations are certainly high for this one, but Mulaney's stand-up gives us hope that he's up to the task.
