A moderator is a valued leader of the SideReel community. Moderators help keep the site clean from spam and vandalism. Moderators also play a key role in adding new content to SideReel with new video links, updated news, and interesting tidbits about shows, movies, and people.

Do I qualify to be a Moderator?

Anyone can be a moderator! You don't have to have special skills but a keen interest in entertainment is helpful.

If you enjoy creating pages, adding information to pages around the site, keeping an eye on links being added and removed from the site or your favorite shows, you're probably great Moderator material!

Generally, we look for our moderators to have done one of the following:

• 100 Link Additions or Removals
• 25 Page Edits or Additions
• 25 News, Review or Discussion Posts

What do Moderators do?

Moderators help out in many ways - here are four critical areas:

• Spam Fighters - help to fight and remove spam on SideReel
• Producers - add and review new shows, films, actor pages and more on the site
• Critics - add news, reviews, gossip and discussion, participate in the community and more
• Editors - add, organize and remove links around the site
