Generation Kill - mmmm mmm finger-lickin' good.

Any follow up to The Wire is going to have some mad expectations to meet and the first two episodes of Generation Kill, HBO's on-the-ground view into an elite Marine Unit that led the invasion of Iraq, does not disappoint.

This is the kind of series that's essentially made for someone like me - a massive history buff. Like Rome before it, HBO has done a tremendous job of capturing a moment in time in a way that a film simply can't.

A Treat...

Friday Night Lights is a rare pleasure among TV shows. Even if you read the book, saw the movie or are from Dillon, you will love this show. My wife, the opposite of a football fan, even enjoys the show. Do yourself a favor and watch this show!
