Zap2it caught up with some of the cast of "American Horror Story" Season 4, subtitled "Freak Show," at 2014 Paleyfest last Friday (March 28), where we asked them a few fun questions about the theme of the upcoming season. Zap2it: Do you have any scary memories of a carnival or circus?Angela Bassett: "When the lions always came out. ... They got just a little rambunctious."Denis O'Hare: "I like circuses, I like the dark part of life, so what I have are lots of memories of being at night at a carnival where there was danger in the air. The carnie people were all kind of sexy and creepy and they all had tattoos and the rides were all kind of rickety and scary and the food was forbidden. An "American Horror Story" writer, Douglas Petrie, confirmed a few Season 4 details on the most recent Nerdist Writers Panel podcast. "We just started working on Season 4 of 'American Horror Story,' which is completely different than anything we've done before," says Petrie, though he adds that they don't have anything concrete yet except the setting. "We will find [our plan] and it's gonna be awesome. We don't know what we're doing," says Petrie, as he confirms that the setting is "carnival."
