Thanks to AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy, we already know that the fourth go-round of FX's hit anthology will be set in 1950 — though he still won't reveal the premise: "If you look historically what happened in the year 1950, there’s some more clues in that year. 'American Horror Story: Coven': Ranking The 14 Goriest Deaths

Every episode of the horror series American Horror Story: Coven is full of disturbing imagery: decapitation, dismemberment, necrophilia and requisite amounts of blood and gore. There's also the haunting pictures our minds paint, the result of descriptive dialogue. In many cases, the deaths are a tame respite from the incest, bestiality and cleanser enemas. Sometimes a witch goes out with a whimper (Nan in the bathtub, Misty spending eternity dissecting frogs) instead of a bang. But with a serial killer on the loose, a voodoo priestess in the mix, a Frankenstein-like monster as a love interest, and a sadistic, racist immortal, violent and gruesome deaths are guaranteed. So rest in peace to those AHS characters who expired under mundane circumstances. Here are the ones who weren't so lucky. http://www.buddytv.com/slideshows/american-horror-story-coven-the-14-goriest-deaths-10930.aspx

'American Horror Story's' Sarah Paulson ready for Season 4, not a spinoff

Spoiler alert: If you haven't watched Wednesday's (Jan. 29) finale, don't keep reading if you don't want to be spoiled. It was revealed during the "American Horror Story: Coven" finale that Sarah Paulson's Cordelia is the new Supreme, with the show's final frames seeing Cordelia, Zoe and Queenie welcome a new batch of young witches to the academy. We'll confess it made part of us yearn for another year of "Coven," or a spinoff from "AHS" about the witches, but Paulson tells E! Online that she's looking forward to Season 4. "I think I'm done with Cordelia. I'm ready to see what's next. ... I'd rather roll the dice and see what's going to come for me next year than play a character I've played," says Paulson. "Although I didn't feel that after I played Lana Winters, I will say that. I would've loved to play Lana Winters for the rest of my life, but with... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/01/american-horror-storys-sarah-paulson-ready-for-season-4-not-a-spinoff.html
