TV ratings: 'America's Got Talent' and 'The Bachelorette' lead Memorial Day

Fast National ratings for Monday, May 28, 2012Memorial Day proved to be a pretty quiet night in the TV ratings, with the handful of original shows that aired falling from their numbers last week and reruns populating the schedule elsewhere.Thanks to "America's Got Talent," NBC ended the night on top, averaging 6.2 million viewers and a 3.6 rating/6 share in households. ABC (5.2 million, 3.7/6) edged CBS (5.1 million, 3.3/5) for second place. FOX took fourth with 2.4 million viewers and a 1.6/3, while The CW drew about 680,000 people and a 0.5/1.NBC led the adults 18-49 demographic as well, albeit with only a 1.9 rating. ABC came in second with a 1.5, and CBS scored a 1.2. Neither FOX (0.8) nor The CW (0.3) broke the 1.0 barrier....

Fast National ratings for Monday, May 21, 2012The series finale of "House" drew some of its best ratings of the season Monday night, but like the final episode of "Desperate Housewives" the previous week, it didn't come close to the heights it reached at its peak. Elsewhere, the final performances on "Dancing With the Stars" drew the night's biggest overall audience, and "America's Got Talent" had the best numbers among adults 18-49. "AGT" also helped NBC's summer series "American Ninja Warrior" get off to an OK start.ABC finished on top among total viewers in primetime, averaging 10.6 million people and a 7.1 rating/11 share in households. FOX (7.4 million, 4.6/7) edged NBC (7.2 million, 4.1/7) for second place. A night of reruns and specials put CBS (5.7 million, 3.7/6) in fourth.
