Um, maybe you should check with your team first? You guys may be playing with teams, but the individual players aren't required to play as a team. I'd be really annoyed if my "coach" came to me and said I have to protect not only my other two teammates, but also someone else's three people. 'Big Brother 14': Who is going home week one?

SPOILER ALERT: Don't keep reading if you don't want to know what's been happening on the live feeds, which you can sign up for if you want to stay up to date on the latest "Big Brother" happenings. The tides can change daily (oftentimes several times in one day) in the "Big Brother" house and this season's hamsters are no exception. In case you don't know, HOH Willie nominated Frank and Kara for eviction. At first, Willie wanted Kara out, but his coach Britney and her new BFF Janelle were adamant that they gun for Frank. Shane won the Power of Veto, which is the best possible outcome for Willie other than him winning it himself, and it looked like Britney had convinced Willie that Frank is a bigger threat in competitions and needs to leave. Meanwhile, Britney and Janelle are working their own agenda -- they have been speculating that the coaches will be allowed... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/07/big-brother-14-who-is-going-home-week-one.html

'Big Brother 14': First Power of Veto competition results

SPOILER ALERT: Don't keep reading if you don't want to be spoiled as to the nominations or the POV results. And you can still sign up for the live feeds if you want to stay up to date on the latest. To bring you up to speed on "Big Brother 14," Willie as the first Head of Household nominated Kara and Frank for eviction. The house seems to be pretty evenly split on who they are gunning for. Playing for Power of Veto are Willie, Kara, Frank, Shane, Wil and Danielle. After the feeds were down for a couple of hours this afternoon, it was revealed that Shane won POV. It sounds like Danielle played pretty hard to help Kara win and they still couldn't pull it off. The competition looks like it involved dollars and coins in some way, but we don't think anyone won any actual money.Shane will probably not use the POV... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/07/big-brother-14-first-power-of-veto-competition-results.html

'Big Brother 14': Will the coaches enter the game?

SPOILER ALERT: Don't keep reading if you don't want to see spoilers from the live feedsBritney and Janelle had an interesting conversation on the "Big Brother" live feeds Friday morning (July 13). They waited until Willie left the HOH room and then they started talking about the coaches entering the game as players. Janelle commented, "If that happens and Boogie is unleashed on this game, it's going to be a f****** blood bath." She also said, "If that happens and the coaches do get to play or whatever ... " when talking about Dan laying low right now and letting his people go home because he just doesn't care that much about the coaches' prize of $100,000. Innnnteresting. We have to say -- we aren't really down with the coaches entering the game as players, even if they hadn't served as mentors first. But it would explain why one of the newbies was sent home... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/07/big-brother-14-will-the-coaches-enter-the-game.html

'Big Brother 14's' Jodi Rollins: 'I'm upset ... they made it seem like there was still hope'

Jodi Rollins was quite surprisingly sent home the first night in the "Big Brother 14" house, which both she and Zap2it think was kind of unfair. Plus, she just Friday (July 13) found out there's no chance she's going back in the house, despite thinking for a week there would be some twist that migtht bring her back."I'm upset now, actually. Not happy," says Jodi. "They made it seem like there was still hope, so I just kind of found out that there wasn't. So I'm kind of upset. [I thought] maybe there'd be a twist that I could go back in the house, so that doesn't seem to be happening and I just found that out."We had to ask if Jodi feels like it was a waste of her time, since she went through the whole process and only spent a few hours in the house. But she says it wasn't a waste. "I... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/07/big-brother-14s-jodi-rollins-im-upset-they-made-it-seem-like-there-was-still-hope.html

'Big Brother': All Stars As Coaches; First Eviction

Last season, despite being outnumbered in the house, the veteran players managed to control almost every aspect of the game, and one of them came out on top. So it was no surprise that the new players faces were filled with apprehension when Julie Chen announced that four former players would be returning to play " Big Brother " (Thu., 9 p.m. ET on CBS) with them. But things are different this time around. This season premiere introduced the twelve new players, and brought back four veterans as coaches. That means they're not competing for the main prize, but a separate $100,000 prize set aside if one of their players takes home the top prize. Back in the house were Britney (BB12-4th place) and Dan (BB10-winner) playing for the second time. Returning for the third time were Janelle (BB6-3rd/BBAllStars-3rd) and Mike "Boogie" (BB2-8/BBAllStars-winner). Julie had them each pick three players from the new cast to coach throughout the season, and then threw them right into their first Head of Household challenge. The twist on this was that the coach of the winning team would pick the first HOH while the coach of the losing team had to evict the first person from the house. Britney's team came out on top, and she wisely gave the first HOH to Willie Hantz; brother of infamous "Survivor" villain Russell Hantz. Willie hasn't told anyone his relation, but the physical resemblance is remarkable and several players are suspicious. Dan's team lost, and because of her struggles on the challenge he chose to send Jodi home before she'd even gotten a chance to settle in. Will she get a chance to return at some later point, or is her adventure over for good so quickly? Find out as "Big Brother" continues Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET, with live eviction episodes Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. And meet the cast here . 'Big Brother 14' premiere: Janelle and Boogie return, one person goes home right away

It's here, y'all! The "Big Brother 14" premiere. It's like summer is officially starting. We are super pumped to be covering for you again this year, particularly because we really liked this year's cast at the press junket day. Julie welcomes us, looking absolutely fetching in red jumpsuit, and we can barely contain our excitement. Also, someone's leaving right away? We wonder if that was planned or if somebody quits .... hmmm. It's great that the mentors are coaches, not players. We don't mind former players returning, per se, but it's so unfair when they are just regular competitors. This is a great twist on that twist. The New HamstersYou can read our thoughts about the new houseguests and their chances here. Based on our press day impressions, Shane, Kara and Willie are going to be competitors. We also are hoping for a Jodi/Jenn/Wil alliance. But we'll probably end up being completely wrong. Our least... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/07/big-brother-14-premiere-janelle-and-boogie-return-one-person-goes-home-right-away.html

'Big Brother 14' live feeds live blog updates

Did you watch the "Big Brother 14" premiere Thursday night (July 12)? It was pretty darn good -- the concept of mentors/coaches is fun, especially since they aren't competing for the prize, which always seems a bit unfair. We didn't love that Dan had to send someone home right away. A person goes through all that process (and this person was a huge fan of the show) and then gets sent home before one night has even gone by? That sucks. Plus, there are only 12 people. Why do they need to get rid of someone early? The mentors presumably are not eligible for nomination?Anyway, the live feeds and "Big Brother After Dark" kick off at 1 a.m. ET/10 p.m. PT, so check back here for updates as to what is happening in the house. We should know nominees at this point at least. Or you can sign up for the live feeds so you... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/07/big-brother-14-live-feeds-live-blog-updates.html
