Billy Connolly's World Tour of England, Ireland and Wales is the third of Scottish comedian Billy Connolly's "world tours" commissioned by the BBC.
The whole episode focuses on the country of Wales, in which he visits Cardiff, the Brecon Beacons and Portmeirion. The comedian arrives in Cardiff, where he discovers how the city's waterfront has developed from a run-down dockyard into an attractive harbour full of yachts. After taking a boat trip to Flatholm Island he pans for gold in a mountain stream before heading for Snowdonia to explore a unique village.
