'Bloodline' star Sam Shepard arrested on suspicion of drunk driving

Police have released actor and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Sam Shepard afterhe was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving in Santa Fe, N.M. on Monday (May 25).The Associated Press reports the"Bloodline"starwas picked up after a worker at La Choza restaurant in the downtown Santa Fe area called and complained about an intoxicated driver.Shepard refused a breathalyzer test, but did admit to a police officer he had two tequila drinks and was planning on driving.RELATED:New 'Bloodline' photos: There's more than meets the eye"Our officer could smell alcohol on his breath, and he had bloodshot, watery eyes,"Lt. Andrea Dobyns tells the AP.After failing a field sobriety test the actor was taken into custody oncharges of aggravated driving while intoxicated.The recent incident is Shepard's second alcohol related arrest.
