'Crossing Lines' premiere: Are you in with William Fichtner and his international crime-solvers?

NBC debuted "Crossing Lines" on Sunday (June 23), a French-Czech television series developed by Ed Bernero, the creator of "Third Watch." It stars William Fichtner as Carl Hickman, a former NYPD detective addicted to morphine after being injured on the job. Hickman is brought onto a team of international crime solvers by the International Criminal Court, designed to work on cases that traverse countries' borders and therefore are often forgotten or not investigated thoroughly because of the many jurisdictions. In the premiere episode, the team tracks a serial killer who kidnaps women in one country and kills them in another. After he takes one of the ICC team members, they scramble to get her back before the killer takes her out as well. Crossing Lines Episode 1 “Pilot” Part 1 & 2 airs Sunday, June 23 2013 (9:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT) on NBC. Episode Synopsis: Crossing Lines Episode 1 “Pilot” Part 1 & 2- In the series premiere, we find disabled former NYPD detective Carl Hickman (William Fichtner) has become a recluse – that is until he receives a unique offer from his friend Detective Major Louis Daniel (Marc Lavoine). The Major has a tough case searching for an international serial killer who crosses borders undetected leaving a trail of victims in his path. Carl joins a team of unique specialists working for the International Criminal Court (ICC); while trying to juggle his own personal demons and trying to corner the killer before time runs out. When a member of the ICC team goes missing, it is presumed to be at the hands of the psychotic serial killer. Meanwhile, Tommy (Richard Flood) follows the trail of the serial killer’s earlier victims and Hickman (William Fichtner) must face his demons in time to find the missing team member. Elsewhere, when Sebastian (Tom Wlaschiha) tracks down the killer the team must race to apprehend him but a sudden tragedy changes the teams’ lives forever.
