'Falling Skies' Sees Falling Ratings for Season 2 Premiere

The sky might not be falling for TNT's "Falling Skies" -- but the numbers for its second season premiere aren't anything to cheer about either. The Steven Spielberg produced series -- which set a year-to-date record for cable launches with its June 2011 series premiere -- didn't do quite so well with Sunday's season two debut.

'Falling Skies' 3.03 Preview: Ben Chokes His Own Brother

Ben and Karen show a strange bond when their harnesses glow, Tom gets into a fight with Pope, and Weaver slumps onto the floor with a wound on his chest.

'Falling Skies' Season 2 will be 'darker, edgier, dirtier,' says cast

When we dive back into the post-alien invasion world of "Falling Skies" for Season 2, three months have passed since reluctant leader Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) boarded an alien ship. Zap2it visited the Vancouver set of the TNT drama and spoke to the cast about their characters' journeys during the very different, much darker second season."This season has been much more about [Tom] embracing [his new life]," Wyle says. His character struggles to "reluctantly accept the responsibilities of leadership, and to feel as though he has earned the right to do so and has the capabilities to be good at it."Peter Shinkoda, who plays Dai, says that Tom's return brings a major change for the group. "He's got a world of new knowledge and potential twists for the second season. That fits him completely and it turns the show on its side -- the return of Noah Wyle and the information that he has accessed...

Falling Skies' Noah Wyle: Tom Has No Illusions of Peace After Visiting Aliens

Falling Skies is back on Sunday (9/8c, TNT)... and Tom Mason will be too from his time away with the alien Overlord. Tom ( Noah Wyle ) will return a changed man after the aliens make it pretty clear that his visit aboard the ship was far from a peace offering. In fact, the 2 nd Mass will be in even more danger this season, which could actually be Tom's fault. Still, there may be hope on the horizon when the outside world makes contact. Will the promise of a stable life and safety be too good to be true? turned to Wyle to get the scoop on the second season, including the quick progression of Anne ( Moon Bloodgood ) and Tom's relationship and the inevitable, impending deaths...

Interview: Falling Skies’ Connor Jessup Talks Ben’s Evolution, Physical Preparation and A Love Interest

“ The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. ” –  Martin Luther King Jr. To  Falling Skies ‘ Connor Jessup, this quote should carry some meaning. In the first season, his character Ben was trying to fit in after being rescued from the Aliens’ harness. Falling Skies’ Interview: Colin Cunningham Talks Playing Pope, Wearing a Wig and Comic Con

If there is ever an alien invasion scenario going on, you better hope for Pope. Of course, I am not referring to THE pope from the Vatican  but to John Pope from TNT’s hit series Falling Skies . Brilliantly played by Colin Cunningham, Pope is the leader of  a band of marauders that is often the annoying voice of reason and a counterpoint to Noah Wyle’s character Tom Mason. Read More...

Under a cold, driving rain, a platoon of resistance fighters moves through piles of dead, charred Skitters — the spidery aliens that invaded Earth and massacred billions — and smashed-up Mechs, their giant deadly robots. Signs of who (or what) killed them are nowhere to be found, but that mystery could provide the truth about the invasion that kicked off TNT's Falling Skies . Right now, however...
