You see them struggle with work, friends, love and life itself.

Season 1 leaves you with a feeling of realness. Somehow, after Season 3, you're left with a vague impression of disgust. Mosylt brought on by Lena Dunham.

I love this show. It's probably the first show where I can really relate to the characters (or at least some). It also makes me laugh!.

It's probably the first show that I have picked that my boyfriend has really loved as well. I can easily sit down with him and watch an entire season in one sitting.

Very impressed with the writing on this show. I love the different approach it takes in comparison to all the other comedies out there.

I'm not sure how to feel about this show anymore, I absolutely loved the first season and all of the characters, but now I find myself getting angry at them all. Yet somehow, I keep watching...

With an excellent first season Girls is an ongoing series with its highs and lows.
When an episode is not consumed to Hanna's outspoken internal monologues (a study on awkwardness by its own) it can give TV the realistic edge that it was needed for many years.

The only annoying part is that all the main characters are kind of spoiled brats without a real care in the world except rich girl problems that can afford a therapist or rent a good appartment in NY.
It lacks a certain sensitivity to the outside world.
Ok maybe it's not sex and the city or even worse gossip girl in lame like qualities but it sits still in its own social bubble refusing to became more real.

I don't get the hype over this show.
