'Go On': Terrell Owens lines up a new job with Ryan

Something weird is happening on NBC's "Go On": Terrell Owens, one of the more reviled athletes in recent sports history, is becoming downright likable.The former NFL star makes his third appearance on the show Tuesday (Feb. 18). He applies to be Ryan's (Matthew Perry) temporary assistant while Carrie (Allison Miller) takes some time off. Ryan, prone to flattery as he is, takes Owens' more-or-less kind words at face value and hires him on the spot, as you can see in the clip at the end of the post.Never mind that just a couple episodes ago, Owens was helping Mr. K (Brett Gelman) and Steven (John Cho) flip Ryan's car in order to teach him a lesson. 'Go On': Courteney Cox joins Matthew Perry for 'Friends' reunion

If you've been wondering what Monica and Chandler have been up to the past nine years, you won't find out in an upcoming episode of "Go On." But you will get to see Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry on screen together again.Cox will join her former "Friends" co-star for an episode of the freshman NBC comedy in April, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She'll play a woman Anne (Julie White) thinks would be a good match for Ryan (Perry).In addition to the on-screen reunion, Cox will also be working again with Scott Silveri, "Go On's" creator and a long-time writer and producer on "Friends."With her "Go On" appearance, Cox will have appeared with three of her "Friends" castmates in shows since that series ended in 2004. She and Lisa Kudrow have appeared on each other's shows, "Cougar Town" and "Web Therapy," while Jennifer Aniston has guested opposited Cox on "Cougar Town" and "Dirt."...

TV ratings: 'New Girl' rises, 'The Taste' tumbles and CBS dominates another Tuesday

Fast National ratings for Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013CBS once again ran away from the field in Tuesday's ratings race, as the "NCIS" duo and "Vegas" swept all three hours in viewers and adults 18-49. Elsewhere, "New Girl" scored its best 18-49 rating in some time for FOX. "Go On" and "The New Normal" dipped some more for NBC, and "The Taste" took a hit for ABC in its second week. ABC's prime-time rebroadcast of "Jimmy Kimmel Live's" Matt Damon episode drew modest numbers.CBS averaged 16.7 million viewers and a 10.4 rating/16 share in households in primetime, beating the combined total of the other four networks. NBC (4.6 million, 3.1/5) was the best of the rest. FOX (3.75 million, 2.2/3) came in third, beating out ABC (3.6 million, 2.4/4). The CW drew 1.3 million viewers and a 0.9/1.CBS also led the adults 18-49 demographic (albeit by not as big a margin) with a 2.9 rating. FOX...
