TV ratings: 'Dancing With the Stars' finale down from fall, 'The Voice' drops too

Fast National ratings for Tuesday, May 21, 2013The season finale of "Dancing With the Stars" scored its best ratings of the spring cycle on Tuesday, but the show couldn't quite match the finale of the "All-Stars" season in the fall. The "DWTS" finale may have stolen a little bit of thunder from "The Voice," however, as NBC's show had its lowest 18-49 rating for a Tuesday show this season. The "Grimm" season finale was on par with its recent performances, and "So You Think You Can Dance" was off a little in viewers from last week's premiere but held steady in the 18-49 demographic.ABC averaged 11.55 million viewers and a 7.5 rating/12 share in households Tuesday night. NBC (7.8 million, 4.9/8) beat CBS (7.5 million, 5.0/8) by a little bit to take second place. FOX came in fourth with 4.6 million viewers and a 2.8/4, and The CW (674,000, 0.4/1) was well back with a... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/05/tv-ratings-dancing-with-the-stars-finale-down-from-fall-the-voice-drops-too.html

'Grimm' Season 3 teases: David Giuntoli on zombie Nick and James Frain being next season's Big Bad

"Grimm" might have ended on a massive cliffhanger in its Season 2 finale "Goodnight, Sweet Grimm," but at least fans can expect the series to pick up from where it left off when it returns in the fall with Season 3. At least, that's what series star David Giuntoli says to expect. There are a lot of loose ends left to be resolved in the current storyline, and Giuntoli is as clueless as everyone else as to how they'll all tie up next season. Still, he took the time to talk to Zap2it about what his Season 3 wishlist is, what he thinks of Nick's newly open relationship with Juliette and who he would like to see as Season 3's Big Bad. Zap2it: When fans first heard that a character was going to die in the finale, I don't think any of them expected it to be Nick. David Giuntoli: I would agree. 'Grimm' Season 2 finale: 'Goodnight, Sweet Grimm' sends a major character to his coffin

"Grimm"has ended its second season with quite the cliffhanger in its finale, "Goodnight, Sweet Grimm": Nick (David Giuntoli) is captured by Eric Renard (James Frain) and Baron Samedi and is beginning his transformation into one of the Cracher-Mortel's zombie creatures, and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) are left surrounded by enemies with escape looking less and less likely. But "Grimm" wouldn't be doing its job if it didn't leave us wanting more, and now we know a lot of big storylines that are set up for the series' return in the fall on Fridays at 9 p.m. At least Juliette and Nick finally completely reunite in the Season 2 finale. After a season of being apart, Juliette is taking to having her memories return and learning about the Wesen world surprisingly well. She has Nick over for dinner where they make up in more ways than one, and then... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/05/grimm-season-2-finale-goodnight-sweet-grimm-send-a-major-character-to-his-coffin.html

'Grimm' Season 2 finale preview: 5 things to expect in 'Goodnight, Sweet Grimm'

It remains to be seen how Nick, Monroe and Rosalee will end up resolving the zombie problem in Portland in"Grimm's" Season 2 finale, especially since it was revealed that Eric Renard is working with Baron Samedi. But there's more at play in "Goodnight, Sweet Grimm" than meets the eye. Zap2it had the chance to check out tonight's episode ahead of time and can tease that there are some big surprises in store in "Goodnight, Sweet Grim." In anticipation of the big Season 2 finale, here are five teases from the upcoming episode. 1. The magic behind the zombies is revealed... And it turns out that the zombies aren't quite as undead as they at first seem. That must have been what leading man David Giuntoli meant when he said, " "We deal with the undead in a way that's never been approached before in very typical 'Grimm' fashion." 2. Someone will get bit by a... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/05/grimm-season-2-finale-preview-5-things-to-expect-in-goodnight-sweet-grimm.html

Grimm Wesen Field Guide

NBC's Grimm has no shortage of living fairy tales running around Portland, and keeping them all straight is enough to make anyone long for their own set of Aunt Marie's Grimm diaries. But since it seems unlikely that Nick will let those out of the trailer anytime soon, SideReel has put together its own infographic guide to the magical creatures that make life difficult for Nick and the rest of Portland PD. (Updated through Season 3) Check out the new version that covers up to Season 4! (Click to view larger)
