TV ratings: 'The Voice' leads Monday again, 'Castle' rises for ABC

Fast National ratings for Monday, Oct. 14, 2013Monday's ratings played out as they have for most of the fall thus far, with "The Voice" and "The Blacklist" giving NBC an across-the-board victory, "Sleepy Hollow" hanging tough for FOX.Also Monday, CBS' rejiggered comedy lineup improved a little bit -- "2 Broke Girls" was up over last week after moving to an earlier timeslot, and "Mom" edged up in viewers (though it was off a tenth of a point in adults 18-49). "Dancing With the Stars" and "Castle" rose a little for ABC. "Hart of Dixie" and "Beauty and the Beast" were up slightly in viewers for The CW.NBC scored 13 million viewers and a 7.9 rating/12 share in households for the night, pending adjustments for its Indianapolis affiliate airing the "Monday Night Football" game. Upon her return Zoe, discovers that no one in town is very happy to see her, except for Lavon (Cress Williams). Desperate for Brick (Tim Matheson) to give her a good reference, she agrees to help him track down George (Scott Porter) and get him to resurrect the Founders Day parade that has been canceled. TV ratings: 'The Voice' tops Monday, 'Beauty and the Beast' returns to so-so numbers

Fast National ratings for Monday, Oct. 7, 2013Monday's ratings played out pretty much according to script, with "The Voice" and "The Blacklist" leading NBC to a decisive win and "Sleepy Hollow" remaining solid for FOX. For the most part, though, shows were down slightly from their performances last week.The CW aired the season premieres "Hart of Dixie" and "Beauty and the Beast," both of which fell below last year's premieres but were in line with where they ended the season. On the plus side for the network, the two shows were a sizable upgrade from the "90210"-"Gossip Girl" combo last season.NBC averaged 13.3 million viewers and a 7.9 rating/12 share in households for the night, beating ABC's 12.3 million and 8.1/12 for the top spot. "Heart of Dixie" is heading to "Hart of Dixie."The CW southern drama has just booked "The Voice" winner Danielle Bradbery for a Season 3 cameo, THR reports. The 17-year-old country singer will appear in episode 8 and will perform her single "The Heart of Dixie."Bradbery's booking comes right after indie group The Head and the Heart signed on for a Season 3 cameo.
