2013 Emmy Nominees: House of Cards, Breaking Bad, Homeland, Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke, & More!

The 2013 Emmy nominations are out and all our favorite shows - and some freshman series too - are ready face off this fall. American Horror Story Asylum, Game of Thrones, and 30 Rocks final season dominated this years list with 17,16, and 13 nominations respectively. Most of the usual big winners made the cut again, including Modern Family, Breaking Bad, and Homeland, as well as some notable Emmys newbies including House of Cards, Bates Motel's Vera Farmiga, and the Khaleesi herself, Emilia Clarke, who was recognized for the first time for her role in Game of Thrones. Notable snubs included Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany, New Girl's Zooey Deschanel and Max Greenfield, and Dexter's Michael C. Hall. A Homeland baddie books a role on Covert Affairs. Zuleikha Robinson, who served as Abu Nazir's liaison Roya Hammad in the second season of Homeland, has landed a multi-episode arc on the hit USA Network spy series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Robinson will play Bianca, a DC power player who teams up with Arthur in the upcoming fourth season. 'Homeland' Season 3 adds eight new guest stars, upgrades two to regulars

Expect to see a lot of new faces in "Homeland" Season 3. Showtime has unveiled a list of eight new guest stars who have joined the cast. The list includes Joanna Merlin as Grandma Lois, Jessica Brody's mother; Nazanin Boniadi as Fara, a capable analyst despite her young appearance; Amy Morton as Erin Kimball, Carrie Mathison's CIA appointed attorney; Gary Wilmes as Dr. Richardson, a psychiatrist helping Dana Brody cope with recent events; and Sam Underwood as Leo, a new friend of Dana's with a troubled past. Other new cast members will play government newcomers looking for answers in the wake of Season 2's terror attack. Tracy Letts portrays Senator Andrew Lockhard, the powerful, authoritative and commanding Committee Chairman; Lawrence Clayton portrays Admiral Jim Pennington, the Presiden't National Security Advisor; and Pedro Pascal portrays Majority Counsel David Portillo, a member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
