TK Tries to Woo a Sports Illustrated Reporter on 'Necessary Roughness' (VIDEO)

Terrence "TK" King has a tough time shutting his mouth, and sometimes, it gets in the way of what he wants. That was the case on 'Necessary Roughness' (Wednesdays, 10PM on USA) when he met an attractive Sports Illustrated reporter named Vivica Stevens, who was writing a profile piece on the New York Hawks. King first noticed Stevens at practice. "Looks like they upgraded the qualifications for being a waterboy," he said, approaching her as she was getting a drink on the sideline. "Now that is an ass." "No, she said, turning around and pointing at King. "That is an ass."

Terrence 'TK' King Gets a New Life Coach on 'Necessary Roughness' (VIDEO)

After walking out on Dr. Dani Santino, Terrence 'TK' King introduced her to his new life coach, Lazarus 'Laz' Rollins, on 'Necessary Roughness' (Wednesdays, 10PM on USA). Dr. Santino seemed suspicious of TK's assessment that Rollins was "the real deal." Trying to appear mature, TK introduced Rollins to Dr. Santino personally. "What we had was great," he said. "But this is more hands-on. You know? It's next level." Rollins explained he was trained in "cognitive therapy," but works in every area of a client's life from romance to finance. TK Says He's Done With Dr. Santino on 'Necessary Roughness' (VIDEO)

Transference makes it easy for a patient to feel something for their psychotherapist, but that's crossing that line is a no-no in treatment. Dr. Dani Santino found herself in the unenviable position of telling her star football player patient, Terrence "TK" King, that she doesn't approve of his relationship with her son, which included buying him a car, on 'Necessary Roughness' (Wednesdays, 10PM on USA). "You're my patient," she told King. "You cannot have a relationship with my son that I find unacceptable. And that means texting, calling, signing merchandise, buying cars." King said he thought they were friends, and sadly, Santino had to tell him otherwise. "Terrence, I care about you deeply," she said. "But the truth is our relationship is therapeutic. And that means that we can't really be friends. You know, there's all these rules that you have for football. These are sort of the rules for therapy."

Casting Scoop: Terrell Owens Suiting Up for 'Necessary Roughness'

Looks like Terrell Owens is a free agent no longer. The pro football bad boy is coming to TV for a little 'Necessary Roughness.' AOL TV just learned exclusively that T.O. will be putting the pads back on and hitting the field for the finale of USA's hit new show 'Necessary Roughness' on Wed., Sept. 14, 10PM ET. Owens will play All-Pro safety/cornerback Kevin "The Mine-Field" Minnifield, who's the star player on the team that the show's NY Hawks go up against in the playoffs. He's also TK's (Mehcad Brooks) lifelong rival. That's right: It's TK vs. TO. Sounds like cause for an end zone celebration to me. Owens is no stranger to TV, having received the reality TV show treatment on VH1's 'The T.O. Show' back in 2009. As far as true acting though, his short resume includes a recent appearance as "T.O." on VH1's 'Single Ladies.'
